• The natural-language search text you submit.
• Your email address, only when you ask us to research a request and reply to you.
• A record that the Terms of Use were accepted, consisting of a random anonymous browser identifier, the Terms version and the time of acceptance. We do not collect your name for this purpose, and we do not collect your IP address for this feature.
• Technical and security logs reasonably necessary to operate and protect the service.

• To return recommendations in response to your request.
• To conduct research you have asked us to carry out and to reply to you.
• To maintain the integrity and security of the service.
• To evidence acceptance of the Terms of Use.
• To improve the available provider information and search quality, using aggregated or de-identified insights wherever reasonably possible.

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not share your email address or your request with a recommended provider unless you choose to contact that provider yourself or separately authorize us to share it.
• Service providers may process data on our behalf under appropriate contractual and security arrangements, and only for the purposes described here.
• We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the safety, rights or security of users or of the service.

• We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purpose collected — including fulfilling a research request — and for legitimate business, legal and security purposes.
• We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

• You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you.
• You may withdraw consent to our use of your information, subject to legal and contractual limits and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer complete a pending research request.
• Requests are handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial legislation.

We do not bundle marketing consent into use of the site. If we ever offer marketing communications, they will require separate, express consent where legally required, and you will be able to withdraw that consent at any time.

Search matching is presently carried out within our own service. If AI processors or other third-party processors are introduced, this Privacy Notice will be updated to disclose that material processing before those tools are used with your information.
